JMAC Kids is Clearwater's alternative choice for school age and pre-school age childcare.  We are  licensed with the Pinellas County Childcare License Board & a non-contracted childcare facility for Coordinated child care (CCC).

As part of our programs, we include martial arts and gymnastics.  We assist the school age children with their homework, enjoy the playground, and relax in the game room. We believe in offering a wide variety of activities throughout each week to all of our students.  Those extra-curricular activities offered are:

· Cooking

· Arts & Crafts

· Chess Club

· Baton

· Gymnastics (no extra fee)

Our mission is to offer children a positive before & after school program and summer experience, create an atmosphere that is fun and safe, and provide developmentally appropriate activities. Our staff is trained in both 1st Aid & CPR, enjoys interacting with children, and we require all of our staff to participate in ongoing education every year through seminars, workshops, and other training courses. We are always striving to provide an environment that is safe, caring and fun for each child.

We are located near the corner of Belcher & NE Coachman Rd. Some of the local area schools that we provide our free pick-up service during the school year are:

During the school year, we provide full day camps for school holidays.  The day camps consist of playground time, game room time, lunch time (brought from home or lunch option), and a field trip.  Students are encouraged to invite their friends for the day.

Text Box: VPK  2011—2012 Our VPK class begins August 22, 2011.  We use the ABEKA BOOK & Creative curriculums for our four-year-old program.  Our students have fun learning phonics, writing, number recognition and manipulation, and making friends throughout the year.  Please contact us for more information. The teacher to student ratio is small enough to give each child one-on-one attention. The ABEKA curriculum is also used in this classroom. Students will learn to recognize numbers, letters, colors, & shapes. Beginning phonics & writing is introduced during the school year. For more information, please contact us.
